Koyote is on the run. We couldn't have choosen a better name for this little pup. He is so energetic and true to nature he eats as much food as I can carry back from the kill. He has been such a trooper, taking everything in stride. I am absolutely blown away by how different the two boys who both came from my loin can be. About the only thing they have in common as babes is taht they both like to be smushed right up against me at night. Aside from that I am lucky enough to catch them once a week for a hug or a kiss.
So far Ky's development has blown me away. We taught Ky a bit of baby sign language just like we did with Kaleb so he can communicate with us. He has quite a vocabulary that needs a mommy interpreter most of the time but we all know what he is saying. Kaleb tells me what's up if I am not cued in. Kaleb usually annouces when Ky has farted, belched, pooped or spilled just to make sure that we know it wasn't him. Ky loves the peacocks our neighbor houses. He would get so serious when he spotted them out in the yard and quietly he stalks them from the table tops until the anticipation takes over and he leaps out the door chasing them into the bush. Just as adventuresome as his brother, Ky is already bushwacking his way down trails and in his own words he already debates with his brother about which path is the path less traveled.
Ky has added an element of fun to this grusome foursome that we badly needed. Andrew is so swamped and serious with his unpredictable work that seeing Ky's smiling face is all he needs to remember what is most important in life.
