Holly molly did this year fly by.  Just the flurry of Christmas activity reminds me of another year passed in this blessed life I live.  The boys are really excited for Christmas though Ky's not quite sure why Kaleb is trying hard to read the calendar and learn the days of the week so he will know exactly when Santa should be arriving.  He is concerned about remembering not to start a fire in the woodstove on Christmas eve in fear of Santa burning his big red bum.  Koyote James is so adorable.  We just want to eat him up like a sugar  cookie.  He loves his big brother so much each morning he jumps out of bed asking, "where's my brother?" Kaleb adores the attention and we all love the comic relief from our little wily koyote.  He loves to laugh and is constantly trying to get a giggle or a jig out of one of us by dancing, stealing his brother's favorite train then prancing around in front of him while he is watching his favorite tv show, or putting on his bear mask and growling at us from the shadows.  Kaleb has a more serious nature thus far and is far more concerned with understanding the state of the world around him.  He is particularly interested in emergencies and repairs.  He is learning all the different heads for the different kinds of screws and has learned how to dismantle the IKEA furniture...now if we could only get him to put the furniture back together.  Oh well I guess that is what our evenings are for.
